Final Photographs

Take the following 2 pictures:

1. Bugs Eye perspective, Freezing action, Shallow Depth of Field

2. Birds Eye Perspective, Rule of Thirds, Motion Blur

Post and label your pictures and include the ISO, Shutter Speed, and Aperture settings for each picture.

Edit and Post the Antique Store Images - Add the best to your Final Portfolio

Edit and Post the Antique Store from the field trip.

Crop, De-saturate and adjust Levels to get the best possible  image. 

All photos must be in Black and White. You may upload color pictures, but there must also be a Black and White version.

Your uploaded pictures should include :

• 3 Still Life including at least 1 with a definite Focal Point and at least 1 that includes Repetition of the Elements
• 3  Details - either Close ups or Textures
• 3-5 additional pictures of your choice from the field trip

Upload any late work and begin Final Portfolio

Please take a look at the blog and upload any work that you might have missed.

Make sure that all of the pictures have been DESATURATED - Converted to Black and White.

If you are sure that all of your assignments are up to date then begin work on your Final Portfolio.

In the first section you will post your 15 strongest images from the semester and provide a brief critique of each including 1 very strong element and 1 element you could improve upon. NOTE- Pick something from the Critique Guide.

In the second part you will provide an assessment of your portfolio and your work ethic.

Make Up Day

Today find a project that you have not yet started or completed. 
Do it. 
Repeat until the class is over. 
This will be one of your last chances to improve your grade.
Title it  "Make up-Name of project"

If you are up to date on every project then make an interesting image using your creativity and the skills you have learned.
Title it "Creative Expression"

Answer the following:

Give a brief description of the type of work that each photographer does.

What are some of the techniques that the photographers used that you have learned about? Find a picture that used the technique and describe how it was used.
Do this for each of the three photographers. Include the picture in your blog post.

Which of these photographers was your favorite? Explain why. Find a favorite picture of one of the photographers and write an in-depth critique of the photograph.

Critique a Recent Photograph

Today you will write TWO thorough critiques using the Critique Guide.

1. the first will be a critique of one of your pictures from the past 3 assignments. We took pictures of the fall day, studio lighting portraits, and a Still Life. Include a copy of the picture with your critique.

2. The second will be a critique of one of your classmates pictures from the past 3 projects. Include the picture.

Edit and Post Your Still Life Pictures

Desaturate, Crop, and Edit the still life pictures from last class.

Upload at least 3 of your best Still Life images.

You can include color versions but they must also be in Black and White.
